One silver needle is hidden in a procedurally drawn haystack of hundreds to thousands of straws; tap or click where you think it is. A wrong guess counts as a miss. Finding the needle shows your time, misses and hints left, then the next level starts. Each level adds more straws and makes the needle shorter, thinner and closer to straw-colored, with no last level. Three hints per game each light up a circle around the needle for 1.5 seconds. Zoom with the mouse wheel, pinch or the +/- buttons and drag to pan; a Daily haystack mode gives everyone the same puzzles for that date, and your best level and fastest find are saved on the device.
