Rarest: Animals

Each round has 7 open prompts such as "Name a country in Africa"; type one answer and press Enter before the 25-second timer runs out. Any correct answer scores, but rarer ones score far more: six burner tiers from Flicker (5 points) to Inferno (100 points, the least-known 10% of each list), up to 700 per round; your balloon climbs with every answer and each answer paints one of its seven panels in its tier colour. A wrong answer costs one second and you can try again (no penalty with No timer), small typos and plurals are accepted, and an answer you already used in the round is refused. Once per round a thermal doubles the prompt you choose. After each prompt you see the best-known answers and three of the rarest, and the final flight log leads with the altitude you reached, draws your flight path and shows your best score, day streak, a spoiler-free result to share and a postcard image of the flight. Every prompt is about animals; Daily mode gives everyone the same 7 each day (one play, resumable) and Unlimited deals fresh ones. A No timer switch turns off the clock for a relaxed game. Answer lists are built from Wikidata and rarity tiers from Wikipedia statistics (links, page views, language editions), not written by hand. Short descriptions come from Wikidata and from the opening lines of English Wikipedia articles (CC BY-SA 4.0).
